“This Saturday last, the boiler decided that, whilst I may still be warm and have heating I was not to have hot water with which to wash or wash up! Just after noon today I called the ‘help’ number that I had been given and spoke with Sheborna (my sincere apologies if that is spelt incorrectly) who most proficiently obtained the necessary information that she required from me and advised me that “help would shortly be on its way”.
Within an hour I had received notification that an engineer from N I Gas (of Bradford) was working in another part of Leeds and would be with me sometime today just as soon as he’d completed his current task but before 5 o’clock. Approximately an hour later their engineer – Abdullah – phoned me to say that he was on his way! By quarter past three, the young man had arrived, assessed the problem (a faulty hot water sensor), replaced the part and I once again had hot running water.
From start to finish all within three hours! Excellent service. First class indeed! I sincerely hope, obviously, that I will not have to avail myself of your emergency services again but it really is most reassuring to know that such politeness, efficiency and skills are waiting in the background for just such an emergency.
I would be most grateful if my appreciation and thanks can be passed on to those persons involved (and their bosses!) and I really am most grateful to them and to 24/7 Home rescue.”
